These days, being a stay-at-home mom has definitely taken on a new meaning. With the way the economy is currently going, so many of us stay-at-home moms are now needing to find a way to bring in a little extra income. But, when you’ve spent years at home raising babies, stepping back into the work field can seem quite challenging and even intimidating. Luckily, there are some great options out there for stay-at-home mom jobs that make this new transition very easy. One of which is MLM (multi-level marketing) companies. And this is exactly what I’m going to chat with you about today!

When it comes to MLM jobs, there are so many reasons why they are the perfect option for a stay-at- home mom. Here are the top 5.

One of the best parts of working for an MLM is the low start-up costs. For example, with the company I work with, once you purchase your initial “kit”, it is not necessary to invest any more money into the business besides a low back office fee of $11.95 (US) a month. So the fact that you get to work from home (or anywhere), and you do not need to carry any kind of inventory, will save you an incredible amount of money when compared to the costs associated with starting a traditional business, because you don’t have to rent an office space or buy all kinds of products to store! All you really need is a laptop and/or phone and a comfortable place to sit, and you’re good to go!
2-Set Your Own Hours
If you’re a stay-at-home mom, then you know how limited your time is. And this is exactly why having a 9-5 job just doesn’t work for so many women. But, by opting to work for an MLM company, you can set your own hours. This allows you to still contribute to your monthly income, but with a job that allows you to work around naps, school schedules, errands, and whatever else fills up your day!
3-Set Your Own Pace
As a stay-at-home mom, your days, weeks, months, and even years are always changing. With more kids comes more costs, and it can be hard to come across extra funds when you are wanting to pay for something that goes beyond the ‘basic necessities’. However, working for an MLM company gives you the opportunity to make some extra money, and therefore more easily help purchase a van (or any car for that matter!), take kids to Disneyland, pay for your kids’ extra curricular activities, and so much more! That extra income can go a really long way, and give you the financial freedom and security that you’ve always wanted.
5-Social Aspects
When you choose to work for an MLM, you are given the amazing opportunity to build, create, and nurture relationships with both your clients and those you work with in the company. Working for an MLM makes it easier to make friends and build your own community/sisterhood with fellow artists, customers, and social media followers since it is part of the job! And honestly, what’s not to love about that?!
