How to Apply the No. 8 Collection
Color Correction
The IIID Brush that’s included is Seint’s original brush, a dual-ended brush that is perfect for applying this collection. Start by using the larger end with the darkest shade for color correction. Stipple the color on areas where there is darker pigmentation or redness. Now, flip the brush and add the darker shade just in the corner of your eyes where you may have darker under eyes.
Main Highlight
Now, using the larger end, dip into the medium tone, your overall skin tone – the main highlight. Apply on the jawline, around the mouth, around the edges of your nose, the forehead and fill in around where the color correction was applied. At this point, you’re wearing two shades and it’s not noticeable. The correct color is in the correct area giving a beautiful finish without layers of makeup.
Lighten & Brighten
Use the lightest highlight shade to lighten and brighten key areas of your face. With the IIID Brush, use the pointed end to add a pop of the light shade into the corner and outer edge of the eye. Also, add a little on the center of the chin, in the center of the forehead, above the cupid’s bow, then take your pinky and run it along the center of the nose. Gently stipple with brush, to melt the makeup into skin to give it a smooth and blended appearance.
Contour
At this point, flatten the brush’s large end into the contour and brush it above the cheek bone, top of forehead, and jawline. To get even more detail, run the contour along the edges of the nose. Then go back in with the brush and stipple (in an upward motion) all the makeup for a blended look.
Bronzer
To apply the bronzer, tap into the bronzer and stipple it above the contour on the cheek bone and over the contour to blend them together, up and around the temple. Put the bronzer on the highest point of your face to add the sun-kissed glow. You can also add the bronzer on your chin, nose, and outer edges of your forehead, depending on how much of the sun-kissed look you want.
A little side note: while the IIID brush does the job, I would highly recommend the blush and bronzer brush for applying your bronzer and cheek (blush).
Lip + Cheek
Finally, it’s time to get your Lip + Cheek on. Using the fluffy end of the IIID brush (it distributes evenly across the skin with no excess makeup), very gently stipple the Lip + Cheek Color above the contour shade, on top of the bronzer. Because this makeup is cream based, the same color is used for your lips and cheeks. With the No. 8 Collection 2 Lip + Cheeks are included and I tend to use both colors, because they’re beautiful together.
Illuminator
Now, to finish off the look, take your finger and dip it into the illuminator to run along the top of the cheek bones, on the center of the nose, cupid’s bow and the center of the lip. Lastly, clean up your look by using a little brightening and run it along the contour to clean up. Blend it downward to give sharp and crisp edges on the contour, then do the same with your eyes.
No. 8 Collection Levels
Within the No. 8 Collection there are 8 color options, referred to as levels. Levels refer to the different skin tone options, to get the right color based on your skin tones. There are images on the website to help you select the correct level to match your skin tones. Also, know that you are always welcome to reach out to me and I will help you.

All About the Seint No. 8 Collection
The Seint No. 8 collection is one of my favorites because it’s just a little more to pretty up your makeup routine. It’s the intermediate collection when compared to the No. 4 (simple) and No. 12 (advanced). As you take the time to apply this collection in the correct way, I know you will have a beautiful finish to your makeup for the day.
